For that past few weeks I have been working on a baby quilt for one of my dear friends. Her niece is due in April and she wanted to give her something special. Not the everyday store bought kind of gift. Together we went shopping and picked out the perfect fabric for this new little cowgirl. A precious paisley and polka-dot print. I love how this quilt turned out! It’s very soft and bright, perfect for a baby girl.
This is also the first quilt that has a monogram. One side has the baby’s initials and the other side has the baby’s birth date (it’s a scheduled c-section).
You may also remember that a few weeks ago I created a lovey with a bunny head. It matches this quilt as well. However, it too was monogrammed and boy what a difference! I’m looking to work together with the shop that did the embroidery so I can offer the service on my other lovies and quilts. It’s such a great personal touch!
